Questions from race directors
How fast does my featured race go live?
Within a few minutes when you pay from the link we emailed you for your race: on the homepage, and on your city page when that plan includes it. If we have to match the race by hand, it is within 1 business day. Reply to your Stripe receipt or email hello@racesnear.com if you want a different registration link or city.
Which pages will my race appear on?
The $39 spot puts your race at the top of your city's race calendar, or at the top of the matching race guide, like Turkey Trots. The $49 spot puts it on the homepage, seen in every city. The Majors spot puts it on the Marathon Majors hub and all 8 Majors race pages.
How long does it run?
Through race day. It's a one-time payment by card through Stripe, and nothing renews.
Is a featured race labeled?
Yes. Featured races always say Featured partner, and their links use rel=sponsored. Paying never changes the free listings or their order.
Can I fix my free listing without paying?
Yes. Adding a missing race or fixing a date, price or link is always free. Email hello@racesnear.com with the race name, city and registration link.
Do you guarantee clicks or sign-ups?
No. We guarantee your race runs on the pages and dates you paid for, but we can't promise a number of visits, clicks or sign-ups. See our Terms.
